THE QASWA FOUNDATION

Donation & Payment Terms & Conditions

Terms governing voluntary contributions and online payment processing.

1. Voluntary contribution

A donation to The Qaswa Foundation is a voluntary contribution made to support its charitable objects and permitted programmes. No goods or services are being sold in exchange for a donation.

2. Payment processing

Online payments are processed through the payment facilities displayed on the Donation page, including Razorpay and other available payment methods. The availability of a particular payment method may vary by the gateway, bank, device, account or transaction.

A donation is treated as successfully received only when the payment gateway/bank confirms successful receipt and the transaction is recorded by the Foundation's payment system.

3. Donor information

For payment processing, acknowledgement, receipts and applicable statutory reporting, donors may be asked to provide accurate information such as name, PAN, mobile number, email address and postal address. Donors are responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied.

Do not submit card numbers, PINs, passwords, CVV or other confidential banking credentials to the Foundation. Such information should be entered only within the secure payment interface provided by the payment service.

4. Payment confirmation and transaction issues

After a successful payment, the donor should retain the payment confirmation, payment ID and any receipt/acknowledgement provided. If the donor's bank account is debited but the transaction is not recorded or confirmed, the donor should contact the Foundation with the relevant transaction reference and date so that the payment status can be checked.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Voluntary contributions that have been successfully received and accounted for are ordinarily non-cancellable and non-refundable. Technical errors, duplicate payments and cases where an account was debited but the transaction was not successfully recorded may be examined individually, subject to payment-gateway, banking and applicable statutory rules.

For detailed provisions, please see the Donation & Refund Policy → and Cancellation Policy →.

6. Tax exemption / deduction

The Foundation's tax-exemption and donation-deduction position is described in its Tax Exemption Declaration →. Any tax deduction is subject to the applicable law, donor eligibility, the nature and mode of donation, qualifying limits and the information/certificates required by law. The Foundation does not guarantee a particular deduction amount or tax outcome.

7. Fraud, misuse and compliance

The Foundation may review, suspend or decline a transaction where it reasonably appears to involve fraud, misuse of the payment system, unlawful activity, inaccurate information or a breach of applicable law or these terms.

8. Privacy and related policies

Use of donor information is subject to the Foundation's Privacy Policy → and Data Protection Policy →. The Donation & Refund Policy and other policies published on this website form part of the information governing online donations.
